Be Stu in 1995

I'm eBay-ing my very first ILM crew jacket. It's literally the first item of clothing I bought when I got my job at ILM, fresh out of CalArts with only an Amiga-made demo reel and a seriously embellished resume (oh, sure, I "know Unix." Who doesn't?).

What I like about this jacket is that it reminds me of the pre-computer-graphics days of ILM.

The thing even has my name embroidered onto the front, guaranteeing a nice low selling price! Unless your name is Stu. Then I got ya right where I want ya...

Hi Stu,

Any chance we'll be seeing that Amiga showreel surface one day? It would be nice to see how it compares to stuff I did when I was 21 and coming out of Filmschool (like this little piece done for my graduation film in 1997 in lightwave on our schools first Pentium 133 with 32MB of memory)

Any way it looks like this will be one pricey item once the bidding war dies down, so I think someone else but me will turn out to be Stu!

i remember making all sorts of great animations on the amigas at college. i never made it to the cg side but it was all early after effects type animations. i thought it was the best at the time. hahahaha

SBG, you're a genius! I should have suggested that the winner could simply embroider "Disco" above the "Stu"!
