Trapped in a closet

...with actress Colleen Foy, DPing a short for director Eric Escobar using the Redrock Micro prototype rig. My first gig as a DP for someone else, and the first test of this rig in the field.

That's my Nikor 50mm f1.4 on the M2, and what you can't see is the Ikan V8000HD HD LCD monitor mounted to the rig on a Noga arm.

More images and words soon.

I just noticed your camera is right side up, not like the Red Rock proto in the link, Is there any reason why?

I can't wait to hear what you think of the rig. Any pricing on that or is it just a concept?

looks like there may be a new ultra compact crash cam with SDHC 1080. throw it down a well. who cares no moving parts.

Heh, you're right Hart—I tweaked the title a bit!

j, this is a work-in-progress prototype and the upside-down mounting wasn't as tweakable as the right-side-up. I'll be switching it over at a later date.
