I really love the TED talks, I was watching that just the other day along with some other possible Rebels. Here is the link to the other rebels (not sure of their work flow or anything and they have not much to do with TED).

This is a great lecture. Abrams speaks eloquently about the power of mystery, and about the importance of compelling characters to make you care about the story.
So why do the characters in "Cloverfield" seem so flat, so slick, so shallow? How can I care about what's happening, if I don't care about the people it's happening to?
More than instructive, inspiring. Specailly the "mystery" part. Very nice.
