Press release. Update: fxguide write-up. Screenshots (click for huge):

Wanna know a secret? I drew this on a napkin for Eyeon about two years ago. I know I know, I'm not the only one.

That would be 3 years for me!

Yeah, they should pretty much call it "Eyeon Rony." :)

Thanks Stu,

This helps...now I just wish that EyeOn would put up some of the workflow and pipeline...showing it in operation...

and yes we've been needing this for some time ;)

Sure wish EyeOn would put a webstream from NAB...

If you are at NAB...let us know what you think...and also check out Scarlet...

And go grab a tricaster from NewTek so we can see what Eye on is doing ;) Just joking ;)

Cheers,

BTW, I have one criticism of the UI: Clip highlight color is too yellow-gold, does not blend seamlessly with ProLost color scheme.

Stu,
I think Eyeon was hoping to avoid a yellow color lawsuit with you.
Hey, if T-mobile can do it, why can't you?

Only if doesn't suck, otherwise it's eyeon Stu :)

Hopefully I can get my hands on a beta (wink wink Steve)

I'm confused. Is Generation aimed at editing, conforming, compositing, finishing, or all of the above?

It seems like it pretty much has Fusion integrated, and in combination with the conform timeline it might potentially offer a full finishing toolset...

But from the press release it seems to want to be a link between editing and finishing.

is eyeon generation+fusion is something similar than that Mogul thing ?
Hope it have grading possibilities and aggressive price point :)
because mogul master at 10 000$/month is way out of our league
