GH1 at PMA
Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at 6:54PM If I was there I'd be a) trying to get my own media in it to steal a native clip and b) checking for manual audio level control. And c) saying "Look, a blimp!"
I'm not calling it conclusive by any means, but the above clip doesn't seem to show any noticeable CMOS Jello-cam effect. Maybe there is something to this Live MOS designation after all.
Go Panasonic go.

Wow, that does look encouraging. But surely some can grab native clip at 1080/24p before the show ends. Come on Rebels!
get out there kids with a memory card and post some motion clips! sounds good though. go panasonic, 1st with manual control goodness.

So, GH1 vs D5mkII, which one to get? I was planning to get a D5 in a few months, because I like to do both photography and video, but now I'm not so sure...
I'd get the GH1, as she is able to feature full manual controls as it seems.
This camera looks so promising for me as a DV rebel. I can't wait to play with it...

I think for level control this will require a beachtek or something like that.
I captured the HD YouTube video to disk to look at it frame by frame. I do see vertical skewing, but probably similar to the 5D or Canon EX1 for that matter. But it sure blows the D90 away. Can't wait to see some real world tests in some skilled hands.

Actually, there is some rolling shutter if you look closely.. But it's obviously nowhere near as bad as the D90 or 5D mkII.
Why did they make the lens so slow???
