Meanwhile, at RED Ranch

Man, it's like watching supermodels mudwrestle for the chance to give you a backrub.

It's nice to know there's a RED employee who looks almost exactly like me—that will help when I try to sneak into their shop.

I assume the Oakley comes with the camera? ;-)

(I sure thought is was you Stu.)

I feel like we're all in some bizarro world where still cameras are actually video cameras and Regular People are actually professional filmmakers.

Not complaining, of course.

John: It's good to reflect to what happened to music production and distribution in last 15 years. Lots of new people are producing music, lots of shit, lots of gold. Maybe RED is to movies what AKAI samplers where to music in the 90's.

Stu? Did you Photoshop a Oakley to your Profile Picture. Wanna steal the Identity from this poor Red Guy ? ;-)

a classic chimper both REDphoto and you! your shades look like they came from your Wii profile or something.

Jim knows how to stir the pot thats for sure.

i was like - right on the GH1 - and then half a day later - ahh of course the RED

March 5, 2009 | Unregistered Commenteragwah

I'll do both. One at a Time. First I'll get the GH1, of cause in Red, then I'll get myself a 3d Rig of two 2/3" fixed Scarlets.

At a push, I am sure you could sneak into the Fringe set too.

A little off topic but check out his 5d mk2 footage on stage at a NIN concert:

Everything is testing the camera here - low light, extreme highlights, hand-held, constant strobes - and it looks awesome. I feel like the half-frame strobe issues only add to the look in this context. There's a rumor that Canon are adding a feature on a firmware update due soon - please let it be manual control and 25p!
